Everyone knows the age old question “can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street,” but do you know who created Sesame Street? This bite-sized graphic novel illustrates just that question by following the story of Joan Ganz Cooney and her effort to create the first children’s TV program ever back in 1969. If you look closely you’ll notice I used subtle halftones on every inch of this novel to create a sense of depth, interest, and that classic 1960’s comic book feel.
